One of the best things about fall approaching is the ability and ease of modifying an outfit. Dressing a look up or down becomes much easier! This look I’m wearing above, for example, started as a more business-casual look! Running in and out of meetings in the morning I wore a pair of heels and leather jacket. But as the day continued, going to the mall and out for dinner in that outfit wasn’t an option.
I decided to ditch the heels and opted out for my super low-cut Converses and traded the blazer for this baggy knit cardigan. Both were really simple and easy day looks. Minimal jewellery in both – never forget any metal watch makes a little statement on its own.
How do you dress your looks up and down?
Cardigan: Urban Plant, Grey Tank-Top: Ardene, Black Shirt: BCBG, Shoes, Converses
Been a while since I’ve written one of these, feeling a little rusty but all for good reason! Regardless if the posts stop the fashion doesn’t – check out my outfit from last night!
While sometimes my look is more edgy, most times it’s classic chic. Last night I wore these great pair of flared jeans with a white quitted t-shirt. I wasn’t in the mood for any chunky statement necklaces so I kept it light with this blue stone necklace. Finally finished the look with some pumps and my new favourite orange tote!
Let me just take the time to also say that I’m a huge believer in jeans being just about the best invention in the world! Their versatility and comfort level make them my go-to bottoms when creating any look!!

I’m all for changing with the trends and even being a trendsetter, but I’m also one of those people who continue wearing something “out of fashion” if I still find ways to make them look fashionable!
The craze over skulls has definitely diminished, but the skull detailed scarf I wore last night is still one of my favourites and I have NO problem wearing it!
Here’s my look for yesterday,
I kept the look casual for the occasion but used yellow for a pop of colour! Rolled up my old jeans and throw on my converses for an extremely comfortable but fashion forward look! What do you guys think??
Grey Cardigan: Costa Blanca, Yellow tank-top: H&M, Jeans: Urban Behaviour, Scarf: Zara
Warm weather is finally here and I couldn’t be happier. The dreadfully long winter here in Toronto has come to an end and it’s beginning to feel a lot like spring.
Last weekend I switched between seasonal wardrobes (never enough closet space for everything all year long) and dug up my spring/summer clothes. Needless to say, I NEED to go shopping for a few key essential pieces to add to my closet for this season but I’m so glad to finally be wearing bright colours, like I did yesterday. Check it out…
If you haven’t put two and two together, I love colour-blocking and gold accents! The whole green and pink combo might just be one of my favourites, I feel like they always look so classy together.
And maybe I haven’t gotten the memo about whether gold chain necklaces are in or out, but as long as I can find a chic outfit that works with it, I will continue wearing them; I love how quickly a thick gold chained necklace heightens a look overall.
With love always,

Sometimes it’s nice to forget the current “trends” and just wear something that speaks to you. While the craze for sportswear is continuously growing in the fashion world, I’ve decided to give it a rest for a bit and get back to some basics.
The important thing to remember with an outfit like this, is to focus on the details. I added some great silver rings and earrings to complete the look.
Nothing welcomes Spring better than a great blazer and a nude hand-bag. Keeping in tuned with the current popular colour we’ve been seeing on the runways of Toronto Fashion Week, I finished the look off with great pink flats.

My look was totally picked out with my 90s blood in mind. I’ve been attached to my big silver hoops and will make an effort to solely bring them back!!
I decided to wear this shiny green sweater with these awesome Vero Moda leather tie-up pants!
I finished the look off with my black booties and leather coat… and of course my huge silver hoops (very J.lo/Lana Del Rey)
The perfect combination for this simple fashionista! What do you think?

Fellow fashionistas.. if you haven’t been into your local Zara please do so now!! They’re having their semi-annual sale and everything is selling quick. When I saw this pearl accented sweater, with great button detailing down the back I fell in love instantly.
I paired the sweater with classic black tights (also from Zara) and these Franco Sarto heeled boots. I also kept all jewellery simple, trying to keep the focus on the pearl necklace lining.
Nothing better than looking and feeling great when you’re stuck at school for three hours on a Tuesday night.
Till next time,
